Developing Your Business Plan
Basic Beginners Business Plan
1. Goals - What are your goals? When do you want to achieve them?
-
Write out your goals, clearly define and give a time frame.
-
Review your goals with your Sponsor or Accountability Partner.
2. Actions - What are the action steps you need to take to accomplish your goals? Action steps include daily activities needed to reach your goals.
3. Office Hours - What are your office hours? How are you going to manage your time? What will you do each day? Schedule blocks of time for each activity.
-
Research
-
Education
-
Prospecting
-
Training yourself or downline
Successful businesses do not operate efficiently without planning their day. They instead know what needs to happen and when it is scheduled to occur.
4. Tracking - This is an often missed step in the MLM business. Go back and review how you managed your time, your activity, etc. What were the results?
For example, you met with a chiropractor and did not follow the "Intro to YL Lifestyle".
-
Was it successful?
-
Did they enroll?
-
Was it duplicatable?
-
Is there something else you can do next to make it better?
Open a new document on your computer and create your business plan now. If it seems too overwhelming, start with just question 1 and move at your own pace. The sooner you are extremely clear on your plan, the quicker you will be able to take action.
Get your calendar out NOW...Schedule for Success and add a completion date. Then schedule an appointment to share your Business Plan with your Sponsor.

*These amounts could be higher or lower and are generously low for this example.

TIP
If your goal is to become a Royal Crown Diamond (RCD) in YL then you will need to practice the language of sharing and be able to successful communicate the details about our company with others. You really only have to do a few things to become a very successful Network Marketer and be on your way to RCD. Isn’t that exciting?
1. Prospect (Practice Prospecting)
2. Present (Practice Presenting)
3. Follow Up (Practice Following Up)
4. Repeat (Practice Repeating)
5. Practice! Practice! Practice!
The good news is we are here to teach you these steps...all you have to do is practice them. The best athletes or surgeons will tell you that they had to practice A LOT! The skills necessary for Network Marketing are nowhere near as difficult as an athlete or a surgeon. In fact, you don't even need a high school diploma to be successful. You just need to Practice.
