TIP: Write your own Elevator Speech or you can use one of these. See below for additional suggestions.
If you want to personalize your elevator speech with the person with whom you are speaking, then substitute ‘improve their health’…….examples:
~ “would really like to reduce or eliminate their vet bills, have healthier pets and improve their financial situation."
~ “would like to stay at home with their children and stop paying day care bills, while they improve the family’s health and wealth."
Let's break this down...First outline the problem; ask a question that would explore the possiblity if they have a similar problem. You say,
"Do you know how..." then your job is to be a problem solver. You demonstrate how you solve the problem by saying, "well, what I do is....".
If your prospective member has already told you what they do so you start off by saying,
"Actually it's interesting you should ask that because you know how you were talking about how you are having a child soon and that means you'll have to give up your job and its causing you some concern because the dip in your income and besides that you're worried about being left behind in the business world. Well, what I do is help people like yourself, set up their own home based business. So they don't lose their business skills and at the same time make sure their family is taken care of."
OR
"You know how people are more concerned about their health, with the pollution in the air, and the chemicals in the food we eat? Well, what I do is I help them keep their health and lives in balance."
OR
"You know how more and more people are finding it harder and harder to sleep at night with the stress of modern day living? Well, what I do is help them relieve the stress and keep their health and lives in balance. How about you? What do you do?"

What do you do?
An Elevator Speech is a brief, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest in what your organization does. You can also use an elevator speech to create interest in a project, idea, or product – or in yourself. A good elevator speech should last no longer than a short elevator ride of 20 to 30 seconds, hence the name.
An elevator speech should be interesting, memorable, and concise. It also needs to explain what makes you – or your organization, product, or idea – unique.
Elevator Speech
You can begin your practice by using the example scripts below. As you become more proficient with the language, you will easily develop your own speeches; they should be short and THIS simple! See the examples first and read below to learn how to develop your own.
You would use an Elevator Speech after speaking to someone and they have either told you what they do and ask you what you do or if they just ask you, "What do You do?".
