Is this one of those Pyramid thingys?

Your  prospect asks you one of these questions:  “Is this MLM?” “Is this one of those things?” “Is this a pyramid scheme?” “I’m not interested in a MLM.” “I don’t want to bother my friends,” or, “How much are you making?”

What should you say?

Many times when a prospect has these questions it is because they had their own bad experience with a Network Marketing company.  Ask them if that is the case and let them talk about it.

“Wait a minute. Do you have a story? What happened? Were you involved in Network Marketing at some point?”

Then just let them tell you their story. It opens them up. It lowers their defenses. And it allows you to ask some questions about their experience.

“What do you think was the reason you didn’t have success?”

“Do you think you really gave it a fair shot?”

“Do you think Network Marketing was the problem? Or do you think maybe your timing wasn’t right?”

"Is this a Pyramid Scheme?"

“Oh no. Pyramid schemes are illegal, and I would never be involved with something illegal.”

“Actually, this is Network Marketing. Do you know anything about it?”

"If I could prove to you beyond shadow of a doubt that this is not a pyramid scheme, would you be interested in hearing more?"

“I don’t want to bother my friends” Again, relate to them by telling YOUR story or someone else’s story. And then ask questions like:

“What makes you think you’d be bothering your friends?”

“If you truly believed in the product, would you let your friends know about it?”

“If I could show you how we share this essential oils with others without it feeling or sounding like we are selling, would that help you?”
