How to "Place" new members...
You can choose to place new members under any other member any time. But be very aware of what you are doing and why. We have seen this type of placement work and we have seen it fail. Talk with your Sponsor and/or upline for more details.
4 Ways to Build Your Business
You can enroll a professional/service provider (Chiropractor, Spa, Nutritionist). These professional service providers can operate their account in a variety of ways. With either option, the professional/ service provider needs to be enrolled as a distributor and purchasing 100PV monthly.
1. Build "Big Business". Jihan Thomas of TriHarmony builds her team with Leaders. How does she do this? She suggests her members become Network Marketing "Professionals". She does not prospect for people who are "sick & broke". She looks for Leaders who are motivated and understand what a great company Young Living is and what a wonderful opportutnity Jihan has to offer. Click Here to learn more about buildling big.
2. Sell the YL products retail. If your professional/ service provider sells the product at retail you will not receive commission for the sale (although the amount of the sale will contribute to your overall OGV). The professional/ service provider will receive 24% commission from each sale and the amount will contribute to their PV/OGV.
3. Enroll new members as Wholesale/Distributor. This scenario will allow the professional/ service provider to receive commissions and you as well. This also allows the professional/ service provider the opportunity to share the business with their clientele and to create a stream of passive and residual income.
4. Combination of the Distributor & Retail. This option has the most flexibility. Allowing the clientele the opportunity to decide how they would like to purchase.
TIP
About 80% of the people you will enroll will be Product Users and 20% will be Business Builders.
We believe you can increase your Business Builders by using the YLSS duplicable system.

Business Building Tips
There are a variety of ways you can build your organization, each of them having pros & cons.
We recommend you build your organization wide & deep. What do we mean by that? We mean that you enroll many members under you directly on your 1st Level. Once you've established 10 or 15 strong distributors on your 1st Level you can start placing people on your 2nd Level and so on.
Make Your Life Simpler with 3rd Party Tools
What is a 3rd Party Tool? A 3rd Party tool is a tool made by someone else that you use to market to your prospect. For example, if someone asks you if an oil is safe for children and babies, you pull out the EDR and reference the oil and guideline. Or if they ask you about the comp plan you pull out a brochure and show them there (instead of telling them from memory). Not only does it save you time and energy not having to KNOW EVERYTHING....it also helps your prospective member say to themselves, "oh, I can do that."
We love what Jihan Thomas of TriHarmony has done. She has recored herself giving the "Introduction to the Young Living Lifestyle" with a powerpoint visual. She has a link on her website that she sends her prospects to listen and watch. Do you think that is all she does? No! She schedules an appointment with them to follow up when they've watched it. She confirms with them then that she will be calling and follows up to make sure they watched it. She calls and asks the proper follow-up questions, listening intently and allowing them to "talk themselves into it", because that was so easy that they said to themself..."I can do that!"
